ROBERT LAWRENCE III. Survived by his parents Patricia (nee Rounds) and Robert Pierson Jr.; 3 sisters Lauren T., Monica N., Lea M. Pierson; grand mom and grand pop Rounds and grand mom and pop pop Pierson; aunt Barb, uncle Jim; cousins Cassie, Anthony "Bub", Jimmy, Danny, Katie; his girlfriend Casey Pownall and many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Relatives and friends are invited to his Funeral Mass 10 A.M. Thurs., April 20 at The St.. Francis Xavier Church (the Oratory), Int. Holy Sepulchre Cem. A Viewing will be held Wed. eve from 6 to 8 P.M. at THE DINAN FUNERAL HOME, 1921-23 Spring Garden St., Phila., 215-563-3655.

It's been quite a few yrs Rob, we hit the 1st gr, together 8th together. Yesterday i went to a baseball game and my heart paused this little boy was your twin. I was hit with serious emotion. I had to leave the game its 2022 rob and you still cross my mind. Ayyyeee rob thank you for everything you have done for me even when you didn't have to. You will never be forgotten. Rip

Hey there Rob, I know it's been a while, but this was the day you & Casey's hearts stopped. We think of you every day, and when I look into her face there is alot of sadness.You were the world to her and I can't tell you the love she has for you still. You were a wonderful person to love her & care for her no matter what. We will keep you in our hearts forever, but please come to her & let her know your ok. She needs this pal. You will always be in my heart Robert, your gleeming smile, and funny ways will cherish me forever. Please watch over our special girl and let her know that she can move onward. She is not doing well alone , and no father. yo rob you will be missed by everyone, my christmas's and easters will never be the same. although i wasnt in fairmount much and only got to see you guys a couple times a year i regret not seeing you more. keep an eye on me , watch my back... we will all be back together some day ........

To Rob's family:
I did not know that my summer could be entirely changed before it began. I did not know that someone who reminded me of "vacation" time and having fun, would be living a nightmare. I promise that I will pray for you until the day I pass, and that I will pray for Robert. Monica, Lea, and Lauren, your brother was one of the key chambers to the heart of Fairmount, and that section can only beat through you now. Stay strong!

My Deepest sympathy go out to Patty and Bobby, I can not begin to imagine the pain that you feel, just know that I think of both of you often since this horrible tragedy that has happen to your son. I never met Rob personally, but I understand he was a good kid, and coming from you two I am sure he was a hoot to be with.
To Rob's sisters who I have never personally met, I know your pain, I feel what you are going through, I lost my only brother almost 4 years ago. I know you cherish the memories you have of your brother and you want the whole world to know, shout it from the roof tops girls! They say time mends a broken heart...no...sharing your memories with people you love about your brother, helps take just a little of that heart ache away, he will always be on your mind, and forever in your heart.
Your family is in my thoughts and prayers.

My Mom also had a beautiful smile which I inherited and my daughter and son. I love to see them smile. I will forever hold this book about your son, Robbie. We are family and always will be. Rob was one of the coolest people i knew. I knew rob since i was a lil young boy. We used to play hockey,baseball and do all sorts of other things i cant speak of...lol..but i do know one thing and that is that he will never be forgotten by anyone...RIP Buddy

i still can't be he's gone. rob was like a brother to me and the thought that i will never see him when i got out hurts so bad. but i guess he's better cause he's not suffering anymore and he's up there wit will, and they're both watchin over all of us! my prays go out to his sisters, his girlfriend casey and his family and friends! be strong everyone!

Although we drifted apart through the years, I remember Rob as being a really great person. I remember his smile the most, and his laugh. My thoughts are there with his family and Casey, he's your angel now - he will always protect everyone.

In such a short while, I've had the opportunity to have this wonderful young man (Rob) as part of my family. He was one of the best. He would light up any room with his beautiful smile. I will truely miss him. You are all in my heart and prayers. He is in our hearts now & forever.....

I really don't even know what to say, I just can't believe it! Everytime I think of Rob all I can picture is that smile, and I think everyone can agree with me on that one. Nothin is ever going to be the same around the neighborhood without Rob, we all had some good times together that we are never gonna forget! But we just have to remember that Rob's in a better place now, and he's watching over all of us!! All his family, esp. his sisters & casey, are in my prayers and im here for yas! we all gotta stay strong!!!

To my dearest family, some things I'd like to say...
but first of all, to let you know, that I arrived okay.
I'm writing this from heaven. Here I dwell with God above.
Here, there's no more tears of sadness; here is just eternal love.
Please do not be unhappy just because I'm out of sight.

That day I had to leave you when my life on earth was through,
God picked me up and hugged me and He said, "I welcome you."
It's good to have you back again; you were missed while you were gone.

God gave me a list of things, that he wished for me to do.
And foremost on the list, was to watch and care for you.

When you think of my life on earth, and all those loving years
because you are only human, they are bound to bring you tears.
But do not be afraid to cry; it does relieve the pain.
Remember there would be no flowers, unless there was some rain.
I wish that I could tell you all that God has planned.
But if I were to tell you, you wouldn't understand.
But one thing is for certain, though my life on earth is o'er.
I'm closer to you now, than I ever was before.
There are many rocky roads ahead of you and many hills to climb;
but together we can do it by taking one day at a time.
It was always my philosophy and I'd like it for you too...
that as you give unto the world, the world will give to you.
If you can help somebody who's in sorrow and pain,
then you can say to God at night......"My day was not in vain."
And now I am contented....that my life has been worthwhile,
knowing as I passed along the way, I made somebody smile.
So if you meet somebody who is sad and feeling low,
just lend a hand to pick him up, as on your way you go.

When I think back and remember Rob, I can only think of his smile cause every time I saw him he was smiling. He was a great kid and didn't deserve to go so soon. My condolences go out to his sisters Lauren, Monica and Lea as well as to the rest of his family.
