Dear Kathy, Bobby, Matt, Brian and all of the Powers Family,

We are so sorry to hear of the loss of your Dad and Grandfather.

The ultimate compliment that I think can be given at the end of a mans life is to say, "He was a good man".

Your Dad (and Grandpop) was a "VERY GOOD MAN"!

We had the pleasure of being his neighbor for decades and we always enjoyed his company and good humor. We are grateful for the thousands of nights spent sitting on the steps just talking and laughing, while watching the kids, with both your wonderful mother and exceptional father.

Know that we are thinking of you and praying for you during this difficult time.

Bob,
I was so sad to hear that you had passed. I enjoyed working with you at Interbay, I looked forward to your funny comments, stories, and sometimes just the look on your face after some one said or did something "out there" was enough to leave me laughing all day, and then I'd start laughing again when I retold the story. You spoke your mind and I really enjoyed our daily conversations. I am so happy that I got to know you and was able to work with you for about two years. I know how much you missed your lovely wife Dianne and I think there is a certain happiness and peacefulness that comes from knowing that you two are together again.

To Brian, Cate, and the Powers family, I know this is a difficult time and a lot of times the words of others don't offer as much comfort as they intend to. Bob was proud of, and loved, his entire family. This was evident by the way he spoke fondly and lovingly about each and every one of you on almost a daily basis. He even told doting stories about Brian and we all worked together! It was obvious that Bob was a man full of love for his family—he was a proud husband, father and grandfather. You are all in my thoughts and prayers and I am deeply sorry for your loss. I only have two years of work memories with Bob and I will never forget him. You have a lifetime of memories with him, that almost makes him immortal in a spiritual sense as he'll live on in your hearts and minds with each memory you recall, or with each story you tell.

Again, my thoughts and prayers are with you and your entire family. I am sorry I can't make it to Bob's services as I will be out of town but my sincerest thoughts and prayers are with each and every one of Bob's friends and family as we all grieve his loss.

Love & Prayers,

Abby
