ROBERT WESTERFER Obituary
ROBERT "DAVE", 49, died suddenly on Sunday, September 25, 2011. Dave was a driver for the Philadelphia Inquirer for 22 years. He is survived by his wife Donna and loving children David and Dawn. He will be missed by the Campbell family, many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Relatives and friends are invited to visitation on Thursday evening, from 6 - 8 P.M. with services beginning at 8 P.M. at BRINGHURST FUNERAL HOME AT WEST LAUREL HILL CEMETERY, 225 Belmont Ave., Bala Cynwyd PA 19004. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Montgomery County SPCA, P.O. Box 222, Conshohocken, PA 19428.

My dad and my husband worked with Dave at the Philadelphia Inquirer.. We meet his family and he did love his family immensely he would talk about his children all the time and how proud he was of them. He came to our family home in Manayunk a lot (back in the day) and he also came hunting with us a few times. He was so funny we have a picture of him in our cabin up the mountains of him giving my dad a huge, we leave for the mountains on Friday and that picture will be there but now it will be different looking at the picture knowing that he will not be with us, but I will remember that time when that picuture was taken.. .. He will be missed by the Lathrop family and the Tursi family.. My heart goes out to his family...

David was my cousin. For a short time, we even lived in the same building. We had several chats during this time when I got to know him better. I found he was a man who had a big heart and loved his family immensely. My heart aches for him, his children and especially Donna. We will all miss him very much. XO, Jessica
