Ronald E. Archer Sr.

Archer Ronald E., Sr. Age 90, passed away peacefully at his home in Limerick, on December 9, 2022. Born in Philadelphia, he was the son of the late Thomas Alexander Archer, Sr. and Anne E. (Heck) Archer. Ron was a 1949 graduate of Northeast Catholic High School in Philadelphia. He served in the Navy during the Korean War aboard the Battleship U.S.S. Iowa. He began his career as an electrician for the Naval Aviation Supply Depot in Philadelphia and retired as the General Foreman of the Naval Air Propulsion Center in West Trenton, NJ. Mr. Archer was an avid golfer and enjoyed gardening and home improvement projects. He is survived by his wife, Anna (Nancy), their daughter, Patricia Anne of Limerick, their son, Daniel Patrick of Horsham, and three additional children from a previous marriage, Wendy Jeanne Gozzi (Antonio), Ronald Eugene Archer, Jr. and Cindy Anne Archer. He is also survived by many grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and many friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, brother, Thomas and sisters, Patricia and Joan. A Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, December 15, 2022, at 11:00 A.M. at CATAGNUS FUNERAL HOME, (329 N. Lewis Rd., Royersford, PA 19468). A Viewing will also be held on Thursday, December 15, 2022, from 9:30-11:00 A.M. at the funeral home. Burial will be held privately by the family at a later date.
