SANDRA GITLIN Obituary
SANDRA E. (nee Goldberg), May 11, 2014. Wife of the late Sheldon; mother of Heather Gitlin, Tamara Bird and Alicyn Gitlin; sister of Anita (Ronald) Salomon; grandmother of Ilana, Alexander, George and Eric Bershtein. She dedicated her career to helping countless women obtain access to health and social services. Sandy was devoted to her family and was a cherished friend. Relatives and friends are invited to Graveside Services Tuesday 1 P.M. precisely at Beth Israel Cem., Woodbridge, N.J. Shiva will be observed at the residence of Heather Gitlin. Contributions in her memory may be made to Planned Parenthood Federation of America or the Sierra Club.
