SARAH MICHELLE March 11, 2011 of Lafayette Hill. Daughter of Amy and Marc Grossman; sister of Rachel Grossman and Samuel Grossman; granddaughter of Sandra and William Plotnick. Relatives and friends are invited to Services Tues. 1 P.M. at Congregation Or Hadash, 190 Camp Hill Rd., Fort Washington, PA 19034. Int. private. In lieu of flowers, contributions in her memory may be made to the Family Resource Fund, c/o Silver Springs-Martin Luther School, 512 West Township Line Rd., Plymouth Meeting, PA 19462.

Amy, Marc, Samuel, and Rachel, I am so sorry for your loss.
Sarah was a nice, beautiful girl, and a great friend to have. I had a rough time in high school but Sarah was always kind towards me even though she was a grade older. She had the most wonderful sense of humor and always put a smile on my face. She had a strong, positive impact on my life and I will miss her. May she rest in peace.

I am deeply saddened at Sarah's passing. She had a wonderful spirit that saw her through difficulties and gave hope and comfort to everyone that came in contact with her. She spoke of you all often with great love. The compassion and love she showed to others is a wonderful testament to your family. Though we have never spoken or met, if there is anything I can do, let me know. It was such a gift to have Sarah in my life and to watch her accomplishing her goals and grow into such an amazing young woman. She will be greatly missed. You are all in my thoughts and prayers.

Marc, i know it's been a LONG time, but I heard about your tragic news and my heart breaks for you! i lost my nephew a few years ago and the pain is palpable. it's awful! my sister now runs the local chapter of compassionate friends and it has helped her tremendously. she'll probably be reaching out to you. her name is janis murphy now so you'll know who she is. it helps to be with people who have experienced the pain so i hope you seek that out when your ready. i wish i had comforting words...i don't...people survive this tho...as difficult as it is to imagine now. my best to you and your family....Bonnie Milstein

Sarah was often a guest in our home in Uniontown. She had a gentle soul; was sweet and loving, patient and loyal and had a wonderful sense of humor. We are deeply saddened that she will no longer be a part of our lives. She spoke often of her caring and supportive parents. Sarah had a dream and was working hard to realize this dream. Grossman Family,
I was a friend of your daughter's from Pitt and I just want you to know that you raised an awesome person. No matter what problems Sarah faced, she always tried hard to push through and work to meet her goals in everything she did. I could always talk to her and know that she was sincere in her listening and advice; she was...well...just real, you know? could definitely always put a smile on my face lol I am so incredibly sorry that Sarah was taken away from you so soon, but I pray that you will find comfort in God and feel blessed that Sarah was given to us to enjoy and love for the time that she was here. I am really going to miss her so much....I will keep all of you in my prayers that God will bring the peace to your hearts that only He can and that you will continue to have one another as you go through the remainder of your journey on this earth without Sarah.
