DR. SARGENT S., August 23, 2009. Beloved husband of the late Pauline (nee Levy). Cherished father of Dr. Barry and Lana Hendler and Drs. Terri and Mark Lipman. Loving Grandfather of Jason Hendler and Chad Billmyer, Jennifer Hendler and Michael Stauffer, and Jeffrey and Stephen Lipman. Dear Great Grandfather of Colin and Nathaniel. Relatives and friends are invited to Funeral Services Wednesday 11 AM precisely GOLDSTEINS ROSENBERGS RAPHAEL SACKS - 6410 N. Broad Street. Int. Mt. Lebanon Cemetery. Shiva will be observed at the home of Terri and Mark Lipman Wednesday, Thursday and Sunday. Contributions in his memory may be made to Jewish Federation of Greater Philadelphia - 2100 Arch Street. Phila., PA 19103.

Dr. Hendler treated our family from Strawberry Mansion to Mt. Airy. We always loved his stories and really enjoyed our office visits, even as small children.
