Mr. and Mrs. Brown,
I just wanted you to know that Scott was a pleasure to have as a student at CHI Institute during the time that I was Assistant Director of Education. There wasn't anything that he wouldn't or couldn't do as far as his studies and helping other students. He was a great protector for Mike and did steer him in the right direction. I feel for your loss and your family is in my prayers.
Sincerely,
Bill Thorn

Mr. and Mrs. Brown, Liz, and my Mikey,
Scott was a pleasure to have at CHI. He was always willing to help anyone who needed it and Bill Thorn and myself relied on him to keep Mike in line when the situation arose. I called Scott and Mike "My Brown boys." They are the same ages as my boys and have similar personalities. Scott acted the same as my oldest and Mike still acts like my youngest "Eli." I frequently call Mike my other Eli and he knows what I mean by that. Anything that I can do for your family please call me at CHI. I would love to hear from any of you and I love to see Mike and can't wait to meet Buster.

Scott and Carol,
Not sure if my first email came through as it got kicked back. I just wanted to let you know how sorry we all are for what you have gone through. I can't even begin to imagine and just want you to know that our thoughts and prayers are with you at this very difficult time. I know my Mom told you in the card that she sent about Todd. Had the same problem and we went thru so many times the same thing worrying if he was going to be ok. I hope you realize that there was nothing you could have done and did all that you could, although I know that it doesn't make it any easier said than done. Again, our prayers are with you. May God bless you and help you through your pain.

Scotty, what a sweet individual. Although we grew apart and did not spend much time together over the past couple years, I will always remember being at Grandmom's with my buddy and just sitting around watching t.v. Aunt Carol, Uncle Scott, Liz, and Michael words cannot express what a tragedy this is, and what a terrible dream it has come to be. I love you and am always here for you, time will help us get through this nightmare. Miss you Scott.
