They both meant so much to us and are missed very, very much. We met them when both of you were still young and we enjoyed watching you grow and having lives or your own. We loved all of you. On the Anniversary of Shirley's passing, I am remembering her friendship and very fond memories of great times we spent together! We did a lot with both her and Harold, who I loved dearly, but Shirley and I also got together to golf, visit, float in the lake and share lots of great stories. When I met the Frankels, their children were still young, so I got to experience many family events with them too. I was heartbroken when we lost Shirley as she was such a dear friend. To this day her photo (and one of Harold) sits on a dresser with photos of good friends. I say hello to them whenever I see those photos. Shirley and Harold were and will always be very special to me! My heart goes out to Jennifer and Bobby as I know this will be a bittersweet day for them. I am thinking of them with love,

Shirley Frankel was a dear friend to my husband Michael and I. We loved spending time with her and our dear Harold. We knew each other for 25+ years and shared many wonderful memories together. Shirley had a big heart and she was very generous. We were grateful for her friendship. Shirley and Harold are forever in our hearts and we miss them both very much. Our hearts go out to Jennifer, Bobby and their families.

I think of Shirley smiling, laughing and enjoying life. Such a wonderful energy, so wise with a very big heart. Such a pleasure to spend time with her at a party or on the golf course. She became my friend through my sister Marie. I was lucky to get to know her over the years and was so lucky to call her my friend. I will keep my sweet memories of her alive in my heart. This was Shirley a woman whit a great legacy. Doing for others, a great friend who is loved and deeply missed. Shirley who loved her family and spoke of them with pride and love.
I am very lucky to have been counted among her friends.

I am so sorry for your loss. I did not have much time with Shirley as an adult since we only found eachother on facebook a year or so ago..but I have fond childhood memories of the good times we had together in our teenage years. I still have pictures of her at my sweet 16 and also from our Hebrew School Days together...She will always be in my thoughts, as will your whole family..

Michael are I are so shocked and saddened by the sudden loss of Shirley. We have known and loved her for so many years and have so many fond memories of the good times we have spent together.
