Sister Philip Neri was one of the most feared women and one of the tallest we knew during our 4 years at Prendie. Her guidance and her total dedication and caring for all of the students helped to shape our lives. She was a great lady. She attended every one of the Class of 60's reunions and always gave a wonderful speech usually inserting "I know who you are!". And by the way, turns out she really wasn't that tall after all! Nor was she as tough as she led us to believe! She had a great heart. The world needs more like her. She will be missed.

To lift a few thoughts from Ralph Waldo Emerson - "To laugh often and love much; to win ....the affection of children; ....to give of one's self; to leave the world a bit better; ......to know that even one life has breathed easier because you have lived - this is to have succeeded." She did indeed succeed. Will miss her at the next reunion.

My gratitude to Sister for showing us the way. We are who we are today because of her guidance and discipline. Feared, respected and always appreciated.
I'll never forget the "whistle" to get our attention and that voice on the PA "I know who you are, report to my office now". Often more than one girl showed up to confess their guilt.
God bless you Sister for all you did. Fond memories will keep us going.

I wish to thank Sister for her years of dedication to "The girls of Predendergast High". The older we grow, the more we appreciate the guidance we received as teenagers. Thank you Sister.

Sr. St. Philip ruled Prendie with a heart of iron and gold. Yes, we feared her. But, we knew that she held our best interests in her actions. Unlike schools of today, we NEVER were afraid in the halls of Prendie. The school was home/heart/adventure/love, and she helped make it that way.

SISTER WAS THE 8TH GRADE TEACHER AT ST. DOROTHY'S IN DREXEL HILL AND THEN SHE FOLLOWED US WHEN SHE WENT TO PRENDIE. SHE WAS A WOMAN OF GOD BUT YOU DID NOT WNAT TO HAVE HER MAD AT YOU. IT WAS NICE TO SEE SHE HAD A NICE LONG LIFE DEVOTED TO STUDENTS AND GOD.

Sister St Philip Neri was Prefect of Discipline during my 4 years at Archbishop Prendergast HS. Sister was a great woman and role model for us. She was known for her fairness and compassion, but held all of us accountable for our behavior. I will never forget her or forget my gratitude to her.
