STEPHEN LOSBEN Obituary
STEPHEN JAY, M.D., age 70, December 14, 2016. A Dermatologist in Meadowbrook, PA. Husband of Andrea (nee Finkelstein), father of Rabbi Emily Losben-Ostrov (Ruben), Joshua Losben (Rabbi Lisa Kingston) and Samantha Losben, brother of Mark Losben. Relatives and friends are invited to Funeral Services Friday 11:30 A.M. precisely at Cong. Shir Ami, 101 Richboro Rd., Newtown, PA 18940. Interment Shalom Memorial Park. Shiva will be observed Friday following burial and Saturday commencing 6:30 P.M. at Cong. Shir Ami. Contributions in his memory may be made to the American Heart Assoc., 5455 N. High St., Columbus, OH 43214 or The Yiddish Book Center, 1021 West St., Amherst, MA 01002 or charity of donor's choice.

Steve was a very good friend to my brother. I looked forward to my brother's "big dinners" because I knew Steve would be there, and I usually spent most of my time talking to him. He was brilliant, kind, and funny, and even though I only saw him a couple of times a year, I felt close to him. I feel sad to have lost him at so young an age, but I also know that he left a great legacy through his effects on his wife Andy, and his three wonderful children. I will miss him dearly.

Stephen is a gentle soul and I will miss him.
