I met Steve in our first year of law school. He was kind and generous. When I spoke to him, he was so focused on the give and take of conversation. I stayed connected only through Facebook, but somehow missed the original post. I will always remember how kind he was at a time when there was so much doubt and uncertainty surrounding my own life.

To Steve's family-

I was friendly with Steve at Emory and was not aware of his passing until tonight when I saw a post from his wife that alluded to something horrible. I want to wish the entire Josselson family and the extended family my warmest and deepest condolences. Steve and I were on the mock trial and pre law society together and, while we lost touch after our college and graduate school years, i have fond memories of spending time with him. It breaks my heart to write this but I am compelled to do so. I hope your children and your wife, Steven, stay strong. I am sure you taught them well. Geoff Ittleman
