Wife of the late Paul; mother of Norma (Gary) Hirsh-Gowen, Ava, Esther (Greg Nachtwey) and Francine; sister of Ruth Laterman and the late Ralph Schwartz and Esther Feldman; grandmother of Charles, Natalie and Alexander. Services and interment were private. Contributions in her memory may be made to Women's Way, 123 S Broad St, Ste 1399, Phila., PA 19109.

I was very sorry to read Sylvia Hirsh's death notice in this morning's Inquirer. Please accept my condolences and best wishes for the Hirsh family. My mother, Lee Barsky, felt a solid connection to and a fondness for Sylvia Hirsh and always asked for her when we spoke.
