My family found Dr moshang when I was 4 years old. He diagnosed me with hypopituitarism. He was my doctor until I hit the age of 19. Because of him I was able to have a normal life. I owe so much to him. I have no doubt that man is in heaven. He loved children and any patient of his knew it. Rest easy Dr. Moshang it's truly deserved.

Your husband, father, brother, and grandfather , Thomas, was a very special man. We are most fortunate to have had him in our lives as our four year old son, Vincent was recovering from stage four cancer starting in 2000 at Children's Hospital of Philadelphia.......... He was most patient and kind, as he would spend the time necessary to discuss with us the care he would provide for Vincent with his thyroid, growth, and other related issues to his little body. We have visited with him every three to six months so he could see Vincent, since that time........... Vincent is now twelve years old, and thriving, in part due to Tom's great care. He was always letting us know how research is being updated, and what advances in medicine Vincent might be allowed as he grows older. We always appreciated Tom's attention, medical expertise, and compassion.............. When he took on the cancer survivorship clinic as well; he was so attuned to these children, and their very complicated oncologic histories. He took special care of these children, as I'm sure he did all his patients. You are in all in our thoughts and prayers.............. Vincent and we will always remember this very special man and doctor who most cetainly helped him to live, thrive, and grow.
Our Sincere Sympathy,
Dr Mike and Carolyn Patriarco

Tom Moshang was, for me and my family, a hero during my Dad's plight with ALS. He jumped in and got him into the hospital in Philly that had a special "ALS" treatment center. Our neurologist for Dad was unable to do what Tom did in one week's time. Dad and Tom Scuba dived together quite often and form a great connection in the diving world. Tom credited Dad with teaching him how to get lobsters with ease. Tom's arrival at our Mom's funeral was yet another tribute from Tom to our family. He will long be remembered by all of us in the Saha Family as a good family friend. He will be missed by all of us FOREVER. Thank you Tom for being you. Love, the Saha Family.

To the Moshang Family,
I really have no words to express how sad and truly sorry I am for your loss. I had the pleasure of working with Dr. Moshang a few years ago @ CHOP. To give you an idea of how loved he was both as a person and also a doctor, parents would be willing to wait months and months for a new patient appointment to see him. I remember making appointments for people from all over the country to see Dr. Moshang. Those parents wanted the best for their children and knew that it would be worth the wait because by waiting, they would get to see "the best." He was a truly amazing doctor. Dr. Moshang will be sadly missed by everyone who knew him. His memory will live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved him. This is my favorite Robert Frost poem, I think it is appropriate at this time:
Nature's first green is gold, Her hardest hue to hold. Her early leaf's a flower. But only so an hour. Then leaf subsides to leaf. So Eden sank to grief, So dawn goes down to day. Nothing gold can stay. ~ Robert Frost "Nothing Gold Can Stay"
Sincerely,
