WALTER E. on May 27, 2010, age 87, of Philadelphia. Beloved husband of the late Elsie M. (nee Stasny). Loving father of Maryann Landmesser (Thomas G. Sr.), Daniel F. Weston (Karen J.) and the late Walter D. Weston. Dear grandfather of Jason, Lynsey, Bryan and Madison. He is also survived by 3 step grandchildren and 8 step great grandchildren. Brother of Dolores Plona, Helen Hayne, Anna Schrandt, Sam Weston and the late June Haas. Relatives and friends are invited to his Viewing, Tuesday, 9:15 to 10:15 A.M. in St. William Church, 6200 Rising Sun Ave., Phila., PA 19111. Funeral Mass 10:30 A.M. Interment Oakland Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations to Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation, 125 S. 9th Street, Suite 202, Phila., PA 19107 would be appreciated.

I am sorry to hear about Uncle Walters passing. Thank God we have our memmories of his life and his great sense of humor. I was glad to see Uncle Walter at my mothers funeral, we had some good stories and laughs while remembering their childhood together which he shared with us. But i am glad he lived a long life and enjoyed what he could. GOD BLESS! cousin Carol

I will miss you very much dear Cousin and Godfather.. Walt. You were always so kind to my mother (Aunt Mary) . You never seem to mind when Mom and I forever called you "Porky". I will always be happy that you were able to attend my wedding to Les. The wedding pictures will be a wonderful memory of you. Rest in Peace.

My thoughts and prayers are with you at this sad time. Walter always had kind words when I saw him, growing up, usually at St. Williams. My sincere condolences.
