I'll always remember meeting up with you for lunch in Fishtown with my grandparents and catching up with you at family gatherings. Thank you for being my grandfather's best friend, my dad's godfather, and a wonderful great uncle. Rest in peace Uncle Billy, I'll miss you dearly.

Uncle Billy - that’s what we all called you since you came into our lives. We will miss you so much- your smile, laugh, jokes, your driving stories lol. You were Pop (Fred Naphys’s) Best Friend since you were both young and growing up in FishTown. We all listened to the stories of hanging on the corners, being involved in the Shaxamaxon Boys Club Football Team and all the adventures you both had together. You were always a part of our Naphys Family- and also Mom (Joan) Naphys’s friend. From birthday parties, bbq’s, watching the Phillies, Eagles and 76ers and all the Boxing events. Our 2 Grand Daughters - Kay and Livi met you and loved you. Kay sat on your lap one year and sang you Happy Birthday. We would have a cake for you and Pop since your birthdays were close to each other. You loved your peanuts; I always made sure we had them and I would send you home with a bag full. We even had you sleep over one time when the game went late; I made you breakfast in the morning and you loved it. Spending time with you was always a pleasure and the laughter was infectious! We are thankful for all the years we had you in our lives. We wish we could have seen you or talked to you more in the past year. We all cherish the memories we made with you Uncle Billy. Our hearts are sad; but we will always smile remembering you. God Bless you in Heaven and now you are reunited with your Parents and Brothers. And find Joan(Mom) Naphys and hug her and let her know how much we miss and love her. We all love you very much. XOXO
