Colin Moore Obituary
His pride and joy was being a father to his two precious daughters Siena Rose and Jade Iris.
Siena writes "Our dad filled our lives with warmth, laughter, and endless love. His kindness, strength, and gentle spirit shaped us into who we are today. Though our hearts ache with his absence, we will carry his love with us always. Forever our hero, forever in our hearts. We love you daddy."
Always the consummate fashion plate with an ebullient personality, he was a friend to all he encountered. Colin had a passion for music of several genres. Mom, Sylvia and Colin fondly sang Tom Petty & the Heartbreakers' tunes together.
Colin was preceded in death by his brother, Galen Moore, grandparents Albert and Edna Harp, John Moore and Jan Denney.
Colin is survived by his loving daughters Siena Rose Moore and Jade Iris Moore and their mother Emily Moore of Las Vegas, NV; parents Sylvia and Tim Hutchings of Olancha, CA; father Lance Moore (Carissa) of Black Mountain, NC; brother Dustan Moore (Jennifer) of Big Pine, CA, Jesse Hutchings (Lili) of Spring Creek, NV, Cameron Moore of Black Mountain, NC; sisters Crystal Hutchings of Tucson, AZ, Syeira Moore of Black Mountain, NC; sister-in-law Audrey Cardoza and daughter Savanna Cardoza of Las Vegas, NV; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Rosary for Colin will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, March 8, 2025, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. at Santa Rosa Catholic Church, Lone Pine. Interment to follow at Mt. Whitney Cemetery and concluding with a Celebration of Life luncheon held at Crowley Hall of Santa Rosa Catholic Church.
In lieu of flowers, it is requested that donations be made to the St. Rose Society of Santa Rosa Catholic Church, P.O. Box 1002, Lone Pine, CA 93545.
