DARRELL MARSH

1935 - 2019

It is with great sadness that we announce Darrell Marsh, 83, beloved husband and father, passed away on January 31, 2019 in Yuma, Arizona following a brief illness.

He leaves his wife of 65 years, Mollee; his children, David and wife Carol, of Yuma, AZ; Peggi and Chuck Villar of Bishop, CA; Doug and Jill Marsh of Fallon, NV and Dennis and Stephanie Marsh of Yuma, AZ. Darrell had 12 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren and one great-great grandson. His mother, Dorothy; four sisters, Patty, Colleen, Barbara and Brenda, all of Fallon, NV also survive him.

Darrell was born in Headrick, Oklahoma on March 6, 1935 and grew up in Reno, NV. He met Mollee in Bishop while enlisted in the Navy during the Korean War. They were married in 1953 and remained residents of Bishop for many years. Darrell was a Mason for over 50 years and was a member of the Winnedumah Lodge. He was an automotive mechanic by trade and prior to owning and operating Marsh's Automotive in Bishop for many years he owned a radiator shop in San Jose, CA. The Cal Electric Square Dance Club loved him as their Caller for over 20 years. Darrell was big-hearted, funny, kind and generous and many feel his loss.

Darrell had a love of horses. After he retired, Darrell and Mollee bought a small ranch in Fallon where he taught the grandchildren how to ride horses and where they raised and sold mini dachshunds from their kennel. His biggest love was Mollee and spending time with his family.
