Alice "Penny" Dingman, age 76, of Oscoda, passed away on Sunday March 21, 2021.
Penny was born Nov. 15, 1944, a daughter to Jack and Blanche Sewick in Pontiac. She graduated Class of 1961 Walled Lake High School in Walled Lake. After graduation Penny began her life's journey working as a secretary for a tool and die company, nursing, owning her own restaurant and selling her chicken eggs, Penny had many skills and talents.
In addition to her love for family, her dog, and friends, she loved playing softball (shortstop) in her younger years for Jay Cees of Walled Lake. She also enjoyed music, ceramics, gardening flowers, pruning her fruit trees, attending Catholic church and simply sitting on her deck drinking coffee listening to the world around her while studying her beloved Bible.
Penny is survived by her sons, Brad (Stephanie) Dingman and Michael Authier; step-daughters, Cheryl (Darryl) Walter and Linda Halas; grandchildren, Sala (Kevin) Fettes, Skye Dingman, Suszanne (Adam) Owen, Christine and David Walters, and many great grandchildren, nieces and nephews, close friends and her pride and joy faithful companion, Justice. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Tommy Authier.
