Dear Tessie and family. I just returned from California and heard of David's passing. This is a sad moment as he was a deeply caring person. As a boy, visiting grandpa and grandma's farm, I always looked forward to seeing Dave. We spend hours studying baseball cards and the other things around the farm. I planned to be in East Tawas next week, I wonder if I could stop in to see you. Let me know. My email address is [email protected]. Again, my condolences. Larry

Emily and Family,
Death is not the end, though it is a bitter loss. I hope and pray you are comforted by the spirit of love your dad sowed throughout his life into his much-cherished family and beyond. Peace be with you all.

Even if I didn't get to see you all the time due to me living in California. I always thought of you as my grandfather. You always made me laugh when I went over for dinner with you and Nana with my Dad Lee and my sisters. Going fishing with you and my father when I was younger was always fun and worth the bug bites. I'm sorry for the suffering you had to endure and the pain you had to live with recently. I pray for your soul and for our family to get through this time of sadness. Thank you for everything Papi.
