Harvey KOM Obituary
Peacefully, in his ninety-first year, on Saturday September 14, 2013. Beloved husband of the late Laura Miller. Cherished father of Ellen. Predeceased by his daughter Barbara, and his son Eric (Nancy). Loving 'Papa' of Sean, Jessica (Frank), Amanda, Steven (Ingrid); and great-grandfather of Adrian, and Mia. Brother of the late Rhoda Yarosky, the late Florence Rodin, the late Sydney, and the late Bernie. Dear brother-in- law of Lily Kom, Max Miller, and Doris Miller. He will be fondly remembered by his nieces and nephews. Heartfelt thanks to Dr. Luc Bilodeau, Marie-Lourdes, Dominique, Carlyne, Viviane, Brigitte, Louisetta, Marie- Lucie, and Dr. Batalian for their care and devotion. Funeral service from Paperman & Sons, 3888 Jean Talon St. W., on Monday, September 16 at 1 p.m. Burial at the Adath Israel Poale Zedek Anshei Ozeroff Congregation Cemetery, de la Savane. Shiva strictly private. Contributions in his memory may be made to the "Harvey Kom Memorial Fund" c/o the Montreal Heart Institute Foundation, (514) 593-2525.

I was very saddened to learn about your father's passing. He and the rest of your family have been the source of many wonderful moments in my career. I can only hope that you know no more sorrow, and find solace and strength in good memories.

Ellen- We are both deeply saddened by Harvey's passing. We loved him very much and we are thankful for the many happy memories of the times we spent together. He was a wonderful man and he will be missed. May God be with you in this moment of sorrow. Our thoughts and prayers are with you.
