Lila G. Clement

Lila G. Clement of Hale, passed away August 6, 2014 at 69 years of age.
Mrs. Clement worked for Hale schools for several years. She was a school bus driver and a cook for the high school. She attended the Seventh Day Adventist Church in Tawas.
Lila was "the best cook" and loved her family dearly. She was a wonderful wife and mother, "the best you could ask for" and will be missed by all.
She is survived by her husband of over 50 years, Terry; five children, Angela (Joseph) Maurer, Teren (Kaman Ku) Clement, Laren (Megan) Clement, Chasen (Amanda) Clement and Sharna (Jay) Cough; 10 grandchildren, Zachary Wood, Stephanie Wood, Jarred Lake, Austin Clement, Rasen Clement, Kruzen Clement, Kaden Clement, Marison Clement, Graslyn Clement and Aleena Clough; along with eight great-great grandchildren. She is also survived by her siblings, Lyle (Nancy) McKenzie, Harold (Pat) McKenzie, Arnold (Sue) McKenzie, Toni Young, Jacklyn (Jerry) Schultz and Darleen (Darrell) Bessey; along with several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, James and Allie McKenzie.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Sunday, Aug. 10 at the Hale Chapel of Buresh Funeral Home, 121 S. Washington. The family will receive friends Saturday from 5 to 8 p.m. and Sunday from 9 a.m. until the time of service.
