Richard Dengate Obituary

Richard Lee Dengate, age 56, of National City died at his home on Wednesday, Nov. 30, 2011.
He was born the son of Richard Francis and Joan (nee Cowan) Dengate on Sept. 27, 1955 in Pontiac. Richard proudly served our county in the United States Navy and retired in 1980. He worked for J & L Trucking in Midland and was known to all as a "Jack of all trades" as he could fix anything.
Richard is survived by his wife, Virginia, whom he married on April 18, 1996; his children, Lauren Deere Dengate, Ashley Elizabeth Dengate Parsons, Richard David Dengate, David Harry Dengate and Riley Lee Dengate; nine brothers and sisters; two grandchilren; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; son, Isiah Richard Lee Dengate; and his sister, Sue Malstrom.
Cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be held at a later date. Memorial may be directed to the veterans of Iosco County and condolences may be offered at www.bureshfuneralhomes.com.
