Stanley Polovino Obituary
He was born the son of Stanley and Rose (nee Toth) on June 14, 1920 in Wayne. Stanley worked for Ford Motor Company for 31 years and retired in 1970. He loved spending time fishing and hunting.
Stanley's proudest part of his life was serving in the United States Marine Corps during World War II and serving in the Pacific during the battles of Tulage, Guadalcanal, Tarawa, Saipan and Tinian.
He is survived by many nieces and nephews and dear friends. Stanley was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Janet; and seven brothers and sisters.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, Nov. 7 at 11 a.m. at Buresh Funeral Home in Tawas City. Interment will follow at Greenwood Cemetery in East Tawas. Visitation will be held today (Wednesday) from 5 to 8 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to the Iosco County Veteran's. Condolences maybe shared at www.bureshfuneralhomes.com.
