Barbara Cubbage Farnham Obituary
Born on July 1, 1953, Bobbie grew up in Savannah and graduated from Savannah High School before attending the University of Georgia. Her lifelong love for Hilton Head Island began in childhood summers and led her to make it her home in 1974. She worked in the food and beverage industry before joining Pearlstine Distributors (later Southern Wine) as a sales representative. Eventually, she chose to focus full-time on raising her children-a role she embraced with unwavering dedication.
Bobbie is survived by her devoted husband, Michael J. Farnham; her beloved children, William A. Cubbage Jr. (Ashley) and Whitney A. Coker (Charles) of Mount Pleasant, SC; step daughter Amelia R. Farnham and her cherished grandchildren: Tripp, Campbell, and Reece Cubbage, and Kennedy and Mary Allen Coker. She also leaves behind her sisters Linda E. Lanier and Elizabeth A. "Betty" Lanier; nieces Agnes E. Schmidt, Mary Elaine Jenkins, and Nicole J. Kennedy; nephews Donavon A. Schmidt and Justin H. Kennedy (Ashley); and great-nephews Porter and Luke Lawson.
She was predeceased by her parents, James H. and Elaine Lanier Kennedy, and her sister Agnes Jan Lanier.
Bobbie found joy outdoors-walking, biking, or simply soaking up the sunshine-and was always present for her grandchildren who affectionately called her "Lolly."
A celebration of Bobbie's life will be held at All Saints Episcopal Church in Hilton Head Island, SC on October 11, 2025 at 1:00 p.m., with a reception to follow.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to All Saints Episcopal Church or Marisol Hospice.
Bobbie's warmth and joyful spirit will live on in all who loved her.

Lived with Bobbie and Betty for a while. Such a fun time and will miss her smile and love for life. The whole family actually took me in for gatherings. My sympathies to Mike Betty, Whitney and William. She will be missed so much by all who knew her

When I remember Bobbie, I see her joyful smile and big beautiful brown eyes! We were friends in our early years here on HHI and now our grandchildren are in preschool together. Many years for so many cherished memories of which I am so grateful. May Bobbie's family be entrusted to God's care as you grieve for her.
