I remember meeting Bruno when he moved to Spartanburg from Brazil. He was friends with Capt. Buck McMillan (City Police Dept.) and would come by to visit with Buck who was working in the Records Division (as I was). He was ALWAYS a very kind, good, caring gentleman. I will always have special memories of him. Please know you all are in my prayers during this difficult time.

Dear Geiss Family,
I was saddened to read of the death of Mr. Bruno Geiss in the paper today. My association with Mr. Geiss goes back over thirty years. He was a good friend of my father Gerald
Abraham and that is how we met. Every time I went to the store to make a purchase it was more of a friendship renewal than a business transaction. We always shared a few laughs and caught up on how our families were doing. That type of quality and trust is rare in today's world.
Please know that I admired and respected him and that he will be missed but not forgotten. You have my thoughts and prayers during this difficult time.
Sincerely,
Dan Abraham

I have had the pleasure of first meeting the Geiss family almost 30 years ago, when I became freinds with Carolyn at McCracken Junior High, Spartanburg. Carolyn has remained my best friend since the day we met. Mr. Geiss was always deticated to his work and family with the highest level. The loving family the Geiss' have become today is due to the love, strength and determination Mr. Geiss gave and proved in action to his family. He had a great love for his dogs too - I remember Snoopy was his baby....and always in his lap when I visited their home. He lived a full and happy life. My prayers are with the family. He is in Heaven now with great peace and he knows how much you all love him! Carry on his legacy proudly my dear friends. God Bless you ~
Love,
Jenny Firth Fisher
