Beaufort, South Carolina - Charlotte Mae Brockwell James, 88, widow of Raymond Lewis James, Jr., of Beaufort, SC, died Saturday, May 28, 2022 at her residence.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday, June 8, 2022 at 11:30am at Carteret Street United Methodist Church with funeral to follow at 1:00pm with interment in Beaufort National Cemetery.
Mrs. James was born on September 6, 1933 in Elizabeth City, NC. She is the daughter of the late Charles Brockwell and Gertrude Duinkerke Brockwell.
Surviving are two daughters, Cheryl Gollihugh (Tommy) and Karen Wilson (Gray); ten grandchildren, fifteen great grandchildren and one great great grandchild.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that donation be made to Carteret Street United Methodist Church, 408 Carteret Street, Beaufort, SC 29902.
Anderson Funeral Home and Crematory is serving the family.
