I'll always remember Chris as a beautiful, tow-headed 5 year-old in a Mighty Mouse suit. Every year, the boy cousins would gather at Auntie's to rake up her leaves. Neil, Jack, Bubba and I would rake the leaves into a big pile at the bottom of her backstairs, and Chris (aka Mighty Mouse) would leap from the stairs into the leaves as if he were flying. It was a splendid sight, and we let him do it time after time until he was exhausted and our patience was beginning to wear thin.
Peace be with you, Mighty Mouse.
Love, Jody.

I was so sorry to read of Chris's death. He was such a darling child with all that blond hair and big brown eyes. I have some wonderful pictures of all of us on Pine Tree Road back in the 50's.
