Edyce Elizabeth Smith

Edyce Elizabeth Smith, 92, of Ridgeland, SC died June 4, 2013 at Coastal Carolina Medical Center in Hardeeville, South Carolina. She was born on October 20, 1920 in Grays, SC the daughter of the late Amanda Elizabeth Long and Edgar Smith. She was the former owner of the Siesta Motel in Ridgeland, SC. She was a member of Ridgeland Baptist Church and the May Lynes Sunday School Class. She is survived by her daughter, Linda Faye Smith Stone of Ft. Lauderdale, Florida; granddaughter, Stephanie Stone Johnson (Jeff) of Charleston, SC; 2 sisters, Delia Reynolds of Charleston, SC and Patricia Pinckney of Simpsonville, SC and 2 great-grandchildren, Hailey and Justin Johnson. She was predeceased by her husband, Arnold L. Smith and 4 sisters; Earlette Janz, Marjorie Matthews, Lois Johnson, and Miriam Kalinowsky. A Funeral Service will be held at 11am, Friday, June 7, 2013 at Sauls Funeral Home Chapel, 310 W. Adams Street, Ridgeland, SC, with burial following at Grimes Cemetery in Grays, SC. The family will receive friends beginning at 10am until the hour of the service.
