Joanne Moses Obituary
September 1, 1932 - December 9, 2021
Dataw Island, South Carolina - Joanne B. Moses, 89, passed away on December 9 after a brief illness.
She spent her childhood in Chevy Chase, MD, graduated from National Cathedral School and Duke University, and spent the first 30 years of her adult life in New Jersey. Nearly 30 years ago she moved to the Low Country, where she fell in love with the area and the ever-changing moods of the salt marshes.
A memorial service will be held in early March, and her family requests that instead of flowers, donations be sent to either The Circle of Hope Ministries (P.O. Box 554, Beaufort, SC 29901), The Good Neighbor Free Medical Clinic (974 Ribaut Road, Beaufort, SC 29902), or Friends of Caroline Hospice (1110 13th St., Port Royal, SC 29935).
We mourn the passage of this kind and generous spirit, and ask you to keep her in your thoughts.
