Kenneth Kachmann Obituary

Kenneth R. Kachmann Kenneth R. Kachmann, 46, joined his Lord and Savior on March 13, 2012 at his residence in Fort Wayne, Indiana. Born in Washington, D.C., "Uncle Keno" was a loving, self-employed day trader adored by family, friends, and his beloved Tonkinese cat, "Bono." Surviving include his mother, Carolyn Kachmann of Hilton Head Island; father, Dr. Rudy Kachmann, and step-mother, Rhonda Kachmann, of Fort Wayne, Indiana; sisters, Kim Kachmann-Geltz of Hilton Head Island, and Heidi Anderson of Fort Wayne; and brother, Dr. Jeffrey Kachmann of Fort Wayne. Raised a Lutheran and a member of the Republican Party, Ken was a natural athlete-an especially avid tennis play and fisherman. His passion and talent for tennis led him to an Indiana state championship and coaching job with the Varsity tennis team at Canterbury High School in Fort Wayne. Ken's enormous generosity and love for all things living were a testament to the goodness in his heart. The Russian author Tolstoy said, "Love is life. All, everything that I understand, I understand only because I love. Everything is, everything exists, only because I love. Everything is united by it alone. Love is God, and to die means that I, a particle of love, shall return to the general and eternal source." Ken loved, truly loved and is finally home, a particle of love with God above. Memorial services were held at Klaehn, Fahl & Melton Winchester Rd. Chapel in Fort Wayne. Memorial contributions in Ken's memory may be made to the Fort Wayne Rescue Mission. www.klaehnfahlmeltonfunerals.com
