Marilyn was a beautiful person. I remember her dedication, compassion & loyalty at VIM. RIP sweet lady.

Although I am Marilyn's Aunt, as mentioned in the obituary, we were more like sisters - three months difference in age. We didn't live in the same town growing up but visited often. Marilyn even taught me to ride a bike! We attended Georgetown University School of Nursing together and were roommates most of our three years there. We weren't able to visit each other as much after marriage and children but kept in touch often by phone and email. I will miss her very much - she was a wonderful niece/sister.

When my husband and I moved to HHI in 1983, Marilyn was so welcoming to us. (We knew of each other through the Marks Family in Maryland.) Marilyn introduced me to her friends and took me to various social events. We were members of several Women's Club groups. John and Marilyn invited us on their boat. One July 4th, we were stranded on the boat during low tide.
Many happy and fun memories of a lovely, sophisticated lady. She will be missed. With deepest sympathy to the family from Darla Davis, Largo, FL

Mrs. Coleman lived across the street from us for 42 years. I first met her right after we moved in and I locked myself out of my house. She graciously let me in to call my husband to come let me in. She also was so sweet to one of my cats that liked to hang out on her deck, even allowing my pet sitter to put some food out for him when we were away and he refused to come back home. She truly cared about everyone including animals and we will miss her greatly.
