Noblesville, Indiana - Born August 21, 1945 in Lafayette, IN, went home to be with his savior, Jesus Christ, July 13, 2022. He graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Management from Purdue University. He resided in Indianapolis, IN, and most recently in Hilton Head Island, SC. Michael was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Barbara Rhodes Bundy; father, Ray; and sister, Patricia Roache. He is survived by his loving wife, Elizabeth Moore Bundy; three children, Jeffrey (Deborah), Kimberly (David) Zimmerman and Matthew (Kara); mother, Beulah; brother, Robert (Dana); brother-in-law, Robert (Christine) Roache; grandchildren, Sarah (Tyler), Michael (Kourtney), Hannah, Nicholas, Ethan, Jackson, Isabelle, Ellisyn and Beckett; and great-grandchildren, Christian and Reagyn; further, by his wife's children, Elizabeth (Andrew) Curnyn and Sarah (Kris) Feldmann, and grandchildren, Ronan, Josephine and Molly.
Michael was a pioneer in the childcare industry and remained active in Indi-Kid, Inc., the company that operates Finding Me Now, a chain of preschools. He was proud of their mission, "To Discover and Affirm Each Child's God-Given Uniqueness."
Michael served as an elder in his church, taught Sunday school and led small group Bible studies. He had a genuine passion for serving Christ in the marketplace. This service began when he recognized Christ as Lord of his business and continued as he served in leadership positions with Christian Business Men's Connection and the Fellowship of Companies for Christ International. He founded and led the Christian Business Leaders Association and the Embassy for Kingdom Commerce, both in Indianapolis.
Michael authored Significance Now, The Possibilities for Christ-Led Enterprise (a Bible study) and Yuar (a children's book) and A Parenting Paradigm - Discovering and Affirming God's Plan for Your Child's Life.
Michael enjoyed the game of golf and was an avid Purdue Boilermaker fan. He loved his family and was profoundly changed at the age of 35 when he realized, in fact, Jesus was alive.
Memorial gifts may be sent to East 91st Street Christian Church in Indianapolis or Hilton Head Island Community Church.
Visitation will be held Friday, July 22, 2022 from 4:30 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at Shirley Brothers Fishers-Castleton Chapel, 9900 Allisonville Road, Fishers, IN. Memorial Services will be held July 23, 2022 at 1:30 p.m. at Northview Church Carmel Campus Chapel, Carmel, IN, and on July 30, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. at St. Luke's Church, 50 Pope Avenue, Hilton Head Island, SC.
