I had the pleasure of attending elementary and high school with Michelle in Hampton County. She was a good friend. I had not seen her in many years but have kept up with her and her battle with cancer thru conversations with her parents. My thoughts and prayers are with your family at this diffucult time.

The day after my graduation, the day before Mother's Day and 5 days before her youngest son's birthday, my Aunt Michelle left us. She was creative, smart, selfless, loving, funny and beautiful. Art, photography, the ocean, her children and music were the loves of her life. She taught me what a strong woman is before she was diagnosed with breast cancer and never stopped throughout the 7 year battle. I thank her for my doll Julie, my first c.d. (New Kids on the Block!) which my dad hated:), my first trip to the beach including parasailing, dolphin cruise, shark fishing, my first set of highlights, my first strawberry daiquiri and being the best Aunt a girl could want for the past 24 years. God Bless you!

Michelle has always been a blessing and an inspiration to me.
She strived to live life to the fullest and possessed the strength and faith to manage all obstacles. Whenever I was weak, she was strong. She encouraged and guided me through troubled times. I still can’t believe she was called away so soon. I‘ll miss hearing her affectionate way of answering the phone
“Hey big brother”, and the hug when we would meet.
We will all miss her so very much and know her legacy will live on in her two sons.
Her soul is in Heaven and by God’s grace,
I’ll see her again.
