Nancy Minor Obituary

Mrs. Raleigh Colston Minor joined her wonderful husband on October 27, 2025, at age 91. Nancy Ettinger Minor was born in Joplin, MO and attended Sweet Briar College and Southwestern Missouri University. Her professional life took her to California, before marrying her "Virginia Gentleman". After living in New England for 21 years, in 1990 they moved to The Landings on Skidaway Island in Savannah GA, where she enjoyed 30 years of friendships, volunteering, bridge, golf, entertaining, and was a member of the Savannah Realtors Million Dollar Club. In 2018 Nancy moved to The Cypress of Hilton Head and enjoyed many friendships there. In late 2022 she moved to California to be close to her daughter, and they returned home to Savannah in early 2025. Nancy had a full, long, and good life. She will be fondly remembered by her many friends.

She is survived by her loving daughter, Catherine Colston Minor of Savannah.

A Memorial Service will be held at St. Peters Episcopal Church, 3 W Ridge Rd., Savannah GA on February 21, 2026 at 2:00 p.m. The reception will follow at St. Peters. Nancy will join her late husband for burial at the Old Cemetary of the University of Virginia in Charlottesville at a later date.
