Perry Pawley Obituary

Perry Pawley Perry Pawley, 69, passed away on Christmas Eve. Perry was born in Atlanta, Georgia on January 26, 1947 and grew up in the Masonic Children Home in Macon, Georgia. He attended college at the University of Georgia and moved to Hilton Head in 1980. Perry was a talented artist who never met a stranger. He formed a sign company called Environmental Graphics, Inc.which he sold in 1985 and then formed a property management company, Preferred Services, Inc. Perry loved the ocean and his fondest memories were either on the beach fishing or cruising the inland waterways around the Island with his children Caroline and Drew. Perry is survived by his children, Caroline Wilkerson and Drew Pawley; granddaughter Sabine Wilkerson; son in law, Sasha Wilkerson; siblings, Milton Pawley, Lila Champagne, and Silvia Tarpley and his special friends Julie and Bernie Timms. A memorial service will be held on the beach in South Forest Beach at the end of Firethorn Lane at noon on January 7th with a reception following the service at 8 Firethorn Lane. In Lieu of Flowers, a donation in Perry's honor can be made to any charity near and dear to the donor's heart. The Island Funeral Home and Crematory. theislandfuneralhome.com
