Raymond J. Vigre

Raymond J. Vigre Raymond J. Vigre, age 78, of Bluffton, SC died Tuesday, January 12, 2016, surrounded by his loving family at Coastal Carolina Medical Center. Mr. Vigre was born on July 17, 1937 in Brooklyn, NY, the son of the late Oscar Vigre and Theresa Layden Vigre. He was a veteran of the United States Army and was a retired insurance executive. He was a member of St. Gregory the Great Catholic Church and was active with the Knights of Columbus, where he was a 4th degree Knight. Mr. Vigre is survived by his loving wife, Joan Vigre; daughters, Kathleen M. Vigre of Bluffton, SC and Karen A. Cefferillo (Dave) of Schaghticoke, NY, and son, Kevin R. Vigre (Jenny) of Charlotte, NC and his grandchildren, Rachel and Zach. The family will be receiving friends from 5:00 7:00 p.m., Friday, January 15, 2016 at Sauls Funeral Home, 90 Simmonsville Road, Bluffton, SC 29910. A funeral mass will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m., Saturday, January 16, 2016 at St. Gregory the Great Catholic Church, 333 Fording Island Road, Bluffton, SC 29909. In lieu of flowers, remembrances may be made to the Wounded Warrior Project, St. Jude Children's Research, or to Special Olympics SC Area 8.
