Dear Jan....What wonderful memories of Dick and our USAF "gang". It seems only yesterday Dick and I were sitting side by side in the navigator class at a UTA. Our many C-123 trips together, outings in Hudson and your kind hospitality with us at Hilton Head are etched in our memories with fondness and full of good thoughts. You and your family are in our prayers.

Dear Jan and family, Gail and I were greatly saddened to learn of Dick's passing. He was a great friend and mentor to me. With no training, I went to Ohio to sell advertising and was going to quit; although it was not his responsibility, Dick came to Ohio and shared his experience with me on what to do. After that we were great friends and I have many wonderful memories of our times together. His presence, his smile and his humor will be missed but always remembered. God Bless you and your family during this difficult time. Gail and John Winterstella
