Bob and I were close Army friends at Savanna Ordnance Depot during the Korean War, 1951 - 1953. We mutually participated in activities ranging from engineering, sports (bowling, golf, and softball), and local activities (picnics, parties, and dances). Because my home was in Pennsylvania and I didn't own a car, Bob took me to his home in St. Louis twice on long weekends, where I met his parents. Five engineers from our 9372nd TSU Army unit, with our wives, held our first and only reunion in July 2001 at Hilton Head Island. It was a happy and memorable reunion. Now, we are down to two former soldiers.

We send our deepest condolences to all of the Hilton family. We always enjoyed the conversations we had with Grandpa Hilton. His energy & memory always amazed me. May the love of friends & family carry you through this journey. Love MaryAnn Wasylewski
