Roger Sullivan Obituary

Mr. Roger James SullivanSun City Hilton Head - Roger Sullivan , 85 died suddenly Friday September 23rd at home. Roger (Sully) was born and raised in Newport RI, spent most of his life in Barrington R.I. and after retiring he and his wife Ann moved to Sun City Hilton Head. He was preceded in death by his daughter Kathleen and his sister Barbara Webb. He is survived by his wife Angela Sullivan of SunCity, brother Norman Sullivan of Branford Connecticut, 2 daughters Judi Mullaney of St Paul Minnesota and Mary Carey and son- in-law Patrick P Carey Jr. of Hilton Head Island as well as 4 grandchildren Andrew Mullaney, Jennifer Mullaney, Matthew Carey and Megan Carey. A Memorial service will be held on Wednesday, September 28, 2011, at 10:00 a.m. at Saint Gregory The Great Catholic Church Bluffton. Burial will be at the convenience of the family in Middletown R.I. The Island Funeral Home and Crematory is in charge of arrangements.

Such a nice wonderful patient in our office at Off Island Dental. He will truely be missed as he always was so cheerful and funny. We will be miss.

I am sorry to hear of this sad news. I saw him infrequently as one of his physicians but truly enjoyed his company every time I saw him. A great guy with a great attitude. He will be missed.
