Ronald Williams Obituary

Ronald H. Williams
June 13, 1943 - January 9, 2023
Bluffton, South Carolina - Ronald H. Williams, 79, passed peacefully on January 9th after an inspiring battle with pancreatic cancer. His final journey was lived with a smile and the same determination to be a light for others that made him an amazing husband, father, and member of the community. He would tell everyone to enjoy every day as if it were your last, to think positive, and to always focus on making happy memories with family and friends as often as you can.
Ron created a blessed life for himself and those around him. He met and married his soulmate Mary Ewing at the University of Tennessee and celebrated their 56th wedding anniversary last March. After officially retiring, he enjoyed over 20 years partnering with Mary as a Real Estate team in the Bluffton/Hilton Head area.
Ron is survived by his wife Mary, son David and longtime partner Christina Garrett with their children Griffin, Gracie, Halle, and Hunter, son Brian with his wife Lori and children Haley, and Austin, and sister Henrietta who has a beautiful family of her own.
A Celebration of Life will be held at Sauls Funeral Home of Bluffton on Monday January 30th with the family receiving guests from 1-2pm. In lieu of flowers, Ron would ask that donations be made to The Caring House via https://caringhouse.org/donate.

It´s impossible that Ron has been gone two years already. I can´t think of Taco Tuesday without thinking of him, nor a Long Island Iced Tea without imagining his joy at making one for Mary. He´ll always be near to my heart.

I have such memories of Ron. He was kind and loving and charming Man, he helped me learn the basics of real estate working with him and Mary The the week they spent with us in Aiken during the hurricane. Working with him as a volunteer for the heritage golf event he was always amiable and positive and encouraging. I´ll remember him with fondness.

Ron´s kindness, ready smile, and "zen" demeanor, along with his total devotion to Mary and the family, will always be powerful memories.
