I will always remember Ruth and her contagious smile. She always made me feel welcome at ther house and like I was part of the family. I cherish the memories of the Small Group that met at her house and how we would sit around the dining room table and talk and have fellowship. I know she is with the Lord now. Home at last! Home at last! I look forward to one day sitting with her in Heaven and fellowshipping again!

To the family of Ruth Dukes I am very sorry for your loss. I worked with Ms Dukes at Bayview Nursing center on the night shift for many years. She was a very pleasant and loving person towards the patients as well as the staff. I really enjoyed working with her she was a excellent Nurse our profession has lost a great care giver. May God comfort you in your time of sorrow. Diania Bunting Beaufort S.C.

I will miss you. Although we didn't see each other that often, you were so wonderful to come and visit us especially when Elmer was in the nursing home. It is too bad we weren't able to be together more often.
I love you.

Thanks for being such a great mom, grandmother, wife and woman. You were always there for us in all that you said and did. I will miss you, but the memories of the life and time we had will always be cherished. You are home now with the Lord, dad, John and other family and friends. We will see you again! I love you!

Mrs. Dukes was a great co-worker, and wonderful role model. She always had a smile for everyone, and never complained. She truly loved the Lord, and was very kind to her patients, and to those who worked with her. We miss her, but we know that she is with the Lord now. I thank God for having known you Ruth, so now rest peacefully in the arms of Almighty God.
