My prayers are with you and your family at this time. Mrs. Brown was a dear woman and we shared the same birthday. We joked that we were "twins". My mother (Peggy Glass) and Mrs. Brown were friends and worked on the VBH cookbook many years ago. May God give you sweet memories in the days ahead.

Bernie & Gloria,
Our sympathies to you and your families regarding the loss of your sweet mom. It is so painful to lose a loving mother; we are glad that she was with you all these years.

My sincere condolences, Bernard, to you and your family. I was in Lynchburg about eight years ago and happened to see your mother in the yard on Easton. I stopped and had a nice visit with her, catching up on old memories.
You will probably remember me as the worrisome little boy who lived across the street (110 Easton).
Kind regards,
David ([email protected])
