Victor Glenn II

Victor "Emerson" Glenn IIVictor "Emerson" Glenn II, 77, of Hilton Head Island, SC passed away suddenly on July 17, 2014 in Hilton Head Hospital. He was born in Durham, NC on June 28, 1937. Emerson lived in Hickory, NC before moving to Hilton Head in 1991. He was very proud of being the founder of Emerson Leather where he manufactured Leather Furniture. He was an alumnus of North Carolina State University, and a member of the First Baptist Church in Hilton Head. Emerson leaves behind his loving wife of 27 years; Deborah Glenn, one step-daughter; Heather Lossada (Fernando) of Hilton Head, SC., his niece; Alexis Reid, two sons; Victor E. Glenn III (Nancy) of Hickory, NC and James R. Glenn (Lynette)of Charleston, NC., one daughter; Kay Loftin (Billy) of Hickory, NC, , one sister; Victoria Weathers (Buddy) of Hickory, NC, and nine grandchildren. A memorial service will be held at The Island Funeral Home, 4 Cardinal Rd., Hilton Head Island on Saturday, July 26, 2014 from 2:00pm-4:00pm.
