Nahant resident, executive secretaryNAHANT - Ann Fuccione (Costonis) of Nahant, formerly of Winthrop, died peacefully and with great dignity at MGH Hospital in Boston, on Sunday, Sept. 4, 2011. She entered into God's care with her husband of 50 years, her two sons and her daughter all present.Beloved wife of 50 years to John Fuccione, devoted mother of John and his wife Karen of Kingston in New Hampshire, Anthony of Marblehead and Andrea Alberti of Nahant. Dear sister of George, Arthur, Anthony, John, Sylvia "Trilley," Johann and the late Lillian. Cherished grandmother of Sophya, Nina, Hannah, Marissa, Johnny, Arianna, Francesca and Eliza. She is also survived by her many loving nieces and nephews.Ann was born in Boston in 1931 to the late Arthur and Sylvia (Bonaccorso) Costonis.She was the personification of dignity balanced with humility. She excelled in her professional life, always acting in the position of Executive Secretary, including Boston Chamber of Commerce, EGG Aircraft in California and her brother George's construction company in Boston.She was a devoted mother and homemaker. She was a dedicated and devoted parishioner of St. Thomas Aquinas Church for over 30 years and was a past member of the Ladies Sodality.Ann's greatest loves were her husband and family including her cherished grandchildren who joyfully reciprocated her great love for them.Although she will indeed be missed here, we know she will be looking out from her new Executive Position with her God. Her beautiful presence in life here on Earth will be overshadowed by her enduring and priceless legacy - the spirituality which she freely shared with all her knew her and her example of living in dignity and great humility.Service information: A funeral Mass in celebration of Ann's life will be held in St. Thomas Aquinas Church, 248 Nahant Road, Nahant on Saturday, Sept. 10 at 10 a.m. Visiting hours in St. Thomas Aquinas Church on Friday, Sept. 9 from 4 to 8 pm. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited. Services will conclude with Ann being laid to rest in the Greenlawn Cemetery in Nahant.
