Antoinette Pacitti, 91
1934 - 2025
Salem - Antoinette Pacitti, 91, of Salem, passed peacefully on Saturday, December 6, 2025, surrounded by her loving family. Born on September 5, 1934, she was the daughter of the late Pasquale and Anna (Volpe) DeIulis and the wife of the late Luigi Pacitti, with whom she spent 45 years of marriage.
Antoinette was the 5th of 11 children. At the age of 19, she, along with her mother and younger siblings immigrated to the US, where her dad and older sister Grace were awaiting their arrival. They all settled in Lynn where she met the love of her life, Luigi, who himself emigrated from Italy.
Family was the center of Antoinette's life. She cherished time spent with her children, grandchildren and greatgrandchildren. She shared her passion of cooking and baking with them and would light up when they would ask her to teach them how to make homemade pasta, gnocchi and Italian cookies. These gatherings turned into a tradition with "Nonna" and will be treasured forever.
Antoinette also shared her wonderful cooking skills with the priests of Holy Family as their cook for many years.
Antoinette will be dearly missed and is survived by her beloved children: Antonio Pacitti and his wife Sharon of Brentwood, NH, and Maria Daly and her husband Kevin of Salem, MA. She is also survived by her loving grandchildren: Tony, Amanda, Kevin, Kaitlin, Michael, and Maura. In addition, she leaves behind her great-grandchildren: Olivia, Daniela, Thomas, Max, Lorenzo, Adeline, Aden, Sophia, Ophelia and Colin, as well as her siblings: Frank, Toby, Gus and Marcello DeIulis, Concetta Pozzi, Silvana Milani, and Alfonsina Metcalfe.
Along with her husband and parents, she was predeceased by her siblings Mario and John DeIulis and Grace Tammaro.
Service Information: Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend visiting hours on Wednesday, December 10, 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:30 AM at Solimine Funeral Home, 426 Broadway, Lynn. A Funeral Mass will follow at 11:00 AM at Holy Family Church, 21 Bessom Street, Lynn. Burial will follow at St. Josephs Cemetery, Lynn.
