Lynn - Bernadette M. "Spucky" (Chamberland) Bishop, 73, of Lynn, peacefully passed away on Thursday, October 30, 2025, at her home, surrounded by her loving family. Born on February 4, 1952, she was the daughter of the late Josephine (Ponce) Davis and Richie (Poppy) Davis.
Born and raised in Chelsea, she was one of eight siblings, a vibrant upbringing that shaped her deep appreciation for family and connection. She was the matriarch of her famiy and always looked forward to family gatherings. In her free time, she enjoyed camping, dancing and music.
Along with her parents, Bernadette is pre-deceased by her sisters, Doreen Dowgos and Elizabeth Chamberland, and brother in-law, Russell Dowgos.
Bernadette will be dearly missed and is survived by her beloved husband, Peter O. Bishop; her son, Robert Belmonte, and his wife, Elizabeth; her stepson, Michael Bishop; her loving granddaughters, GG Belmonte, Sabrina DuPont, her Great grandson Orion DuPont; and her siblings, Jean-Marie DeIeso and her partner, Americo DeChristoforo; Catherine Holden and her husband, Scott; Deborah Chamberland; Leonard Chamberland and his wife, Aldene; and Richard Chamberland and his wife, Kim, as well as many nieces and nephews.
Service Information: Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend visiting hours on Saturday, November 15, 2025 from 9:30 AM to 11:30 AM at Solimine Funeral Home, 426 Broadway (Rt. 129). Burial will follow at Pine Grove Cemetery, Lynn.
