Brian E. Doane

PEABODY -- Brian E. Doane, age 47, of Peabody and formerly of Lynn, died on Wednesday, Aug. 1, 2018, at the Kaplan Family Hospice House, Danvers, surrounded by his loved ones, following a lengthy and courageous battle with kidney cancer. Born in Lynn in 1970, Brian was the beloved son of Kathleen A. (Barber) and William B. Doane Sr. He was a 1988 graduate of St. Mary's High School and went on to attend Stonehill College. A financial analyst for many years at McCue Corporation in Peabody, Brian was an avid Boston sports fan and especially loved following the Red Sox. A collector of baseball cards as a child, Brian was a numbers guy. He would study the statistics of the game and was great at analyzing the players before they were drafted. He enjoyed watching CNN and was passionate about current events, politics and world news. But his greatest joy was the precious time spent with his daughters Livi and Talia and his girlfriend Winter.   In addition to his parents, Brian is survived by his loving daughters, Olivia and Natalia Doane and their mother Christi of San Luis Obispo, Calif.; his longtime girlfriend, Winter Abboud of  Salem and her children George, Autumn, Michael and Logan; his brother, Billy Doane and his fiancé Andrew Hirschfeld of Salem; his sister, Laurie Michalski and her husband Joseph of Derry, N.H. and their children Chad and Chelsey; his aunts and uncles, Jim and Jane Barber, Michael Doane and Ruthie Doane, his great-niece, Aviana, and all of his amazing cousins. For his close friends Ditch, JP, Ozzie, Paulie D and The Ricker, he will always be with you in Vegas. Service information: A funeral service will be held on Sunday, Aug. 5, 2018 in the SOLIMINE Funeral Home, 426 Broadway (Route 129), Lynn, at 4 p.m. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited. Visitation will be held prior to the service from 1-4 p.m. In lieu of flowers and donations, Brian's wish would be that everyone enjoy their favorite restaurant or pastime with friends and family and cherish those you love.
