1961 - 2025
Lynn, MA - Edward Philip Doherty, 64, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, October 15, 2025, at LifePath Hospice House in Sun City Center, Florida, surrounded by love and comfort.
Born and raised in Lynn, Ed was the son of the late Edward and Janet (Tennent) Doherty. He had a lifelong love for the outdoors and enjoyed fishing, scenic rides, and time spent in Maine. He found peace on the open road with his motorcycle and cherished the freedom it brought him.
He shared many happy years with his significant other, Wendy Jump, whose love and companionship meant the world to him. Above all, his greatest joy came from spending time with his grandchildren, who brought light and laughter to his life.
He is survived by his daughter, Shannon, and his significant other, Wendy Jump; his brothers, Patrick, Sean, and Dennis Doherty; his cherished grandchildren, Christian, Connor, and Cali; his aunts, cousins and friends who will miss him dearly.
Service Information: At the request of the family, services will be private.
