Eva Jean Ferrell age 83 of the Shop Springs Community, died Tuesday morning, Jan. 28, 2025 at Quality Care Health Center in Lebanon. Born March 14, 1941 in Clay County, she was the daughter of the late Raymond and Lela Copas Cherry.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Jovas Jackson Ferrell; son, Danny Ferrell; sisters, Lily May Christian and June Ferrell; and her brothers, Charles, Richard, Roy, Kenneth, Douglas and Jerry Lee Cherry,
Eva Jean is survived by her son, Carlton Ferrell; sister, Margaret Ferrell; sister-in-law, Carlene Cherry; brother-in-law, Tony Ferrell; nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be at 3:30 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 1, 2025 at Hunter Funeral Home with Bro. Charlie Lawson officiating. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. till service time on Saturday. Interment will follow at Hunter Memorial Park.
The family wishes to thank Miranda Williams and the staff of Gentiva Hospice and Quality Care Health Center for all their love and care.
